Wow what a busy week of learning we have had this week. Fractions in Maths has proven a tricky area but we have stuck at it and really made some big steps forward in our learning. However it has become apparent that a quicker recall of times tables and division facts is necessary if we are to avoid silly errors. In English, we have been writing about a fantasy sea setting and a mythical creature we have created where I have been particularly impressed with word choices and understanding different types of sentence structures. Finally we have made a good start looking at why oceans matter and the need to look after these as much as possible.
Homework
Plastic Diary (Thursday) – first of all you may have seen a plastic diary sheet that is asking your child to complete plastic wastage within your household for a week. If you could help them tally this up that would be fantastic.
