Highlights: It has been a super week in Class 5 and all the children have been amazing! In English, we have been writing a newspaper report based on The Lighthouse which we need to finish on Monday, but they are brilliant.  In Science, the children have set up an experiment with bread to see what conditions mould grows best in.  Finally, in Maths we have been working hard to understand and work out angles in shapes.  It has been quite tricky but they have kept at it and have done really well.

What’s happening next week:  Next week is a normal week in Class 5.

Spellings: The children will be tested daily on 10 words from the Year 5/6 statutory spelling list. Please try and learn these for the next two weeks.

Class Focus:  Reading.  Please continue to read with your child and access the website for reading comprehensions as well as the revision books.  If you need help locating the websites, please contact me.

Homework: Children have a GPS booklet to compete for Monday – we will be going through it in the afternoon.

Dates for the diary:

Class 5 This Week.
