Wow! What a busy week we have had in Class 5 this week. In English we have been finishing off our setting descriptions where we have been using some fantastic figurative language. The children have been trying really hard and have produced some good work. In Maths this week, we have been looking at multiples and factors and rules of divisibility. We have been really enjoying our History topic this half term and we have started to learn this week how Bronze was made and the impact it had on daily life.
We have also nearly come to the end of our PE units where the children got super competitive with Handball and Football tournaments (these are to continue next week). Finally in ICT, we started our new unit all about blogging. We tied this nicely into World Mental Health Day where we wrote a short blog on how how we can try and keep a positive mind when things get tough.
